Hello! My name is Carl Rodriguez and I am 56 years old. I am a husband, father to four, and a new grandfather to a beautiful grandson. I was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at 30 years old and have lived with it for 25 years with very little issue. However, the last year has been difficult and I've been told to start searching for a living donor. I would like to reach out to anyone who may be considering becoming a donor. It's a BIG ASK, I know. Believe me, it's an awkward, surreal conversation to have with anyone. But, it's a topic I will need to get used to talking about if I want to share my story. I've never asked for anything, but now I'm having to ask for help. Please share my story. I'm hoping someone out there will connect with me and my story. In the meantime, I have continued to work. I am a federal agent and I have worked as an Agricultural Specialist for 18+ years. I really like my job and I want to stay with it until I retire. A transplant would allow me to live a healthier, longer life. I like watching movies, reading, hiking with my dogs, camping, travelling, swimming, and going to concerts. I want to be healthy for my family and be able to watch my grandson grow up. Thanks for reading! I appreciate your time and would appreciate a share!
I would be grateful if you shared this page.
