I'm Steven May, and I live in Concord, Virginia. I'm 45 years old and in need of a kidney transplant. I used to be a volunteer for my community, but now, I'm searching for someone to save my life.

I recently started a job as a Construction Inspector in January 2023. My goal is to work full-time, contribute to my community, and be there for my family. I want to see my nephews and niece grow up, travel without dialysis, and perhaps start a family of my own.

I was born with one kidney working at just 16%, but my father selflessly donated one of his kidneys in 1985, giving me a chance at a normal life. In 1998, I needed dialysis, but I didn't let it define me. A kidney transplant in 2001 gave me 18 more years of life.

Now, I'm searching for a third chance at life, hoping for a hero to help me. My story is one of courage and determination, and I'm reaching out to the world for support.
